New to Group-Abiterone and hot flashes

I appreciate learning about this support group-I have stage 4 metastatic and am responding well to abiterone; do hot flashes subside? When?

Taking arbiterone/orgovyx don t know which to blame as I started both at once. 10months now and barely notice any mild flush events. Earlier on in summer heat the hot flushes made me sweat a lot.Good luck I’m your quest for long survival .

I have Leuprolide and Abiraterone. I feel I start having hot flashes after taking my 3-monthly Leuprolide which blasts for about 2 weeks.

After 21 mos of lupron and 17 on Abiraterone my flashes are getting worse w increased sweating. Fatique is my no.1 complaint. Good luck to all.

Hubby takes 1 Duloxetine (Cymbalta) once a day. Really helps reduce hot flashes.

Research led me to getting an antidepressant Venlafaxine Rx 37.5 twice daily. This tremendously helped with my hot flashes from Lupron.

I am entering year three on Abiraterone (Abby). Hot flashes? Yes, one at night, its like an old friend at this point in my survivorship, shortly after I go to bed its show up. Some nights, maybe once or twice per week I'll a second Hot Flash in the middle of the night. I'll have daytime Hot Flashes but they tend to be random couple times per week.

My PSA is starting to rise, thinking my Abby days might be transitioning to another drug.....
