Hello @yashmehra,

I'd like to invite @jmweissler, @lnewulfavcom, @bigmuddy, and @hips4me to this discussion as they also mentioned being male and being diagnosed with osteoporosis. Each has tried medications for osteoporosis and a few have been on Fosamax and may be able to offer some of their experiences.

@yashmehra, now that you have started Fosamax, how has your first wave of treatment gone? How are you currently feeling?

I've been on Prolia for approx 5 years. Dexa 2023: T Score -1.6 Z Score -0.4 Mineral density 0.913 in 2nd lumbar. Unable to find the one from 2020. But recall improvement in density for the 2023

2023 Results: Total mineral density in lumbar spine 1.934 T score -0.5
Total mineral density in hip 1.029 T score 0 Z score 1.1
Femoral neck bone mineral density 0.716 T Score -1.6 Z score
Due now for another DEXA--Oncologist and GP concerned about taking another Dexa with all the Radiation I've had in the femoral neck bone. I have had zero side effects. Understand Prolia only strengthens the bone does not provide any curative effects.
