OK, didn't know what else is in use. Are you referring to the kind of surgery done now in most places such as in Tampa, FL, if all of what's going on is considered minimally invasive?

Yes, Tampa does minimally invasive surgery. People don't want a huge scar on the neck.
My wife had it done there and it was great!
