Hello @positivehealth, Sorry you haven't had many responses in the other discussion you started on spongy feet. I did a search of Connect using spongy feet what helps. You might want to scan through the comments and see if there is something someone has shared that might be helpful - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/.
I think that many of us struggle to find the right words to describe neuropathy. I I initially felt like my socks were wadded up in my shoes until the sensation moved up my calves. Some one suggested that it was as if you had blood pressure cuffs wound up too tight on both legs. I reacted - yes!!! I'll bet you'll come across spongy.

1 ReactionI posted about this a day ago. I have this and it gets worse every day. To be honest I cant take it much longer. My feet feel like they are dead, spongey yet feels like walking on bone. My feet deformed too and I walk in the sides of my feet. It started with the sponge feeling but I have it in long fibre and motor too. Exercise makes it worse so havent found anything. Im quite scared that I have charcot foot.

1 ReactionMy feet often feel as if they are connected to my ankles with swivel joints. Sort of like the the universal joints found in a tool set for sockets.
All these different sensations!!
Does PT help?
Thank you
I can't feel the bottom of my feet, all I feel is burning and pain.
Makes it difficult to walk!!
