neuropathy and hydrosephalus

i have neuropathy i was prescribed gabepentin and am now up to 300 mg a day my legs and feet seem to be getting worse i also have extreme difficulty walking i shuffle is this normal? i also have hydrosephalus seemingly controled by shunt i am just going crazy with all the symptoms any help would be appreciated

I pretty much shuffle when I walk all the time and have some difficulty walking any distance more than a few hundred feet. What helps me is to exercise daily and just keep moving.
