Neuropathy. And HIV
Hello, I developed neuropathy in my feet in December 2016, symptoms went away in June 2017, however, returned december 2017. Neurologists could not find cause. I took the liberty and tested for HIV, negative in January, February, march and April 2017. all 4th gen tests, all negative, also in between, tested negative for HIV RNA1 test, negative. Was concerned about HIV and my neuropathy, since I tested negative so many times after my neuropathy started, shall I take another HIV test since my neuropathy returned? Or am I safe to say that wouldn't be the cause.

Hello @jlor, Is your question that you think your neuropathy is caused by HIV or the drugs taken for HIV? The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy has some information on their website that may provide some information for you here:

Was questioning if my neuropathy was caused by HIV, based on what I wrote above, I tested negative so many times after my symptoms started, however, the symptoms returned.
