My husband is 7 weeks pos op. He fast-walks 3 miles every morning and he said that he is not feeling any pain or warmth anywhere.
BUT, everybody needs different time for healing. Six weeks is really still very early in the recovery.
Maybe you can try gentle stretching before you start walking and also check if your shoes are in good shape. Add some fish oil and vit B12 as well as alpha lipoic acid to your supplements since they all have beneficial effects on nerves and nerve pain.

@stuey63

Yes : )), take it easy and listen to your body. 👍
Everybody is different and every surgeon is different as well as an extent of what has been done. If you had a large prostate and they also removed some lymph nodes it causes more trauma to the region than, lets say, removal of a small prostate and no nodes removed.
Make sure you are not spending a lot of time in the same position during the day also. Use soft surface for sitting and shift you weight occasionally. Walking is very good for you, just exercise in shoes with good support and pace yourself. 😊👍
