Need a calcium citrate supplement that does not include PEG

Posted by maeberry @maeberry, Jul 4 3:50pm

I have significant osteoporosis and in the process of having my third infusion this fall. I have been taking CITRACAL Calcium Supplement +D3 petites. Unfortunately, I am now allergic to Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) which is an inactive ingredient in the supplements I take.

Is anyone taking a calcium citrate supplement that does not include PEG that is working well for them?

I am also sensitive to PEG and have been taking Rainbow Light calcium citrate min-tablets. Your post inspired me to double check the label and it has "pharmaceutical glaze" which contains shellac made my insects! Honestly I didn't notice. Let me know if you find a good supplement! It may be that a powder is the best way to go, or fortified milks and juices.
