Nausea/Weight Loss with Jevtana (Cabazitaxel)

Good morning everyone,

My father recently received his 7th cycle of Jevtana (Cabazitaxel) for hormone resistant prostate cancer. He has been really lucky thus far, and has has had pretty much no side effects whatsoever (even during his course of Docetaxel he got about two years ago). Lately, however, he has started experiencing really intense bouts of nausea, and last night he stopped eating halfway through dinner and it got so bad that he threw up. I also weighed him and saw he has lost almost 15 pounds in the last month.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with Jevtana? We have tried some nausea pills his oncologist prescribed him (Prochlorperazin/Compazine), however, they don't seem to be totally effective. Is there anything else we can try?
