Nausea after drinking red wine

When I drink a red wine I feel so nauseous that I think I am going to vomit. This also affects my adult daughter the same way. I have no problem with white wine. Does anyone else experience this when drinking red wine?

@pinkhydrangea You’re not alone in your feeling nauseated with drinking red wine. While I never felt ill, it often gave me headaches, a flushed face and itchy mouth…haha yes, but I persevered and pushed through anyway! 😂 🍷
I did a quick search though and found a bunch of articles. One that grabbed my attention was this one from Popular Science…not one of my usual sources but the article is relevant. I’d suggest switching to white…I love a good Vouvray.
