Nausea 20% of time at 80% level or nausea 80% of time at 20%?

Was taking dexilant 60 mg once a day and had nausea at very high level about 20% of the day. Now taking dexilant 30 mg twice a day and have nausea at a low level about 80% of the day. In essence, I have less nausea now for a longer part of the day. Have GERD and gastritis. Yes, I know it is confusing but any ideas how I can find some balance? It is like I now have low level nausea most of the day. Thanks in advance for your help.
