My mom was diagnosed last year with glioblastoma had surgery done removed it on the left side.. did chemo for 6 months and 3 weeks of radiation. and now 3 weeks ago she had the 2nd surgery done ( left side ). she is really confused and dizzy.
Can anyone tell me if this goes away and she will back to normal?
It’s really bad all she does is sleep and doesn’t know what day/time it is… this sucks so bad

My husband had Glioblastoma but I can’t tell you anything about what to expect for your mother’s recovery. You must speak with her neurologist and neurosurgeon to get her prognosis. Glioblastoma is virtually always terminal. Extreme confusion after brain radiation is expected and typically is worse 10-12 months after the radiation. I wish I had a sunnier outlook, but this disease is brutal and so are the treatments. I do hope your mother has some quality time remaining. Make her days as good as possible. Peace be with you.
