My mobility on the right hip is really compromised due to stiffness

I have developed a severe stiffness of my right hip, I started doing some yoga moves and The pain spread out further to the spine. My question is should I continue doing exercises?

@louisagetsbetter26 Yoga is one of those exercises that seems mild and easy, but is really challenging to the body, especially if you have not exercised in a while. I do it, but very gently, because of osteoarthritis and chronic pain - it was recommended by my orthopedist and PT but I checked with my pain doc and PCP before I started and got their OK. (I don't have osteoporosis - just trying to avoid it.)

I have a few questions for you - have you asked your docs about doing it? Do you have osteoporosis, and if so, do you know what joints are affected?
Finally, if the doctors OK it, is there a studio or PT where you can go to be taught how to safely do a few poses?
