MRI and other tests

I am about to get an mp MRI, but certain doctors request special contrast or filters for the MRI to qualify for a leading edge treatment or to participate in a medical study. Does anyone know what should be requested by the referring doctor for the MRI? To ensure it is all captured vs needing to do it twice which insurance won’t pay for?

I can't address the doctors order excep to suggest that you talk to someone doing the leading edge treatment and/ or the contact for the medical study.
I can advise you to have the mp MRI on a 3 T (three tesla instead of 1.5) You can ask to be slated for 3T when you schedule. They are different machines.
