Has there been more information about Mitochondria myopathy as of yet? Been suffering for years, seizures have started, and it is slowly getting worse despite not over doing it.

Welcome @abilene105, I know it must be difficult for you to try and manage your condition while continuing to search for something that helps when you have been suffering for many years. The National Organization for Rare Disorders lists some therapies and treatments along with some patient resources in case you haven't seen it - https://rarediseases.org/rare-diseases/primary-mitochondrial-myopathies/.

I did find a 2018 research paper on the topic that may provide additional information.

Another source I've used looking for the latest medical research is Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.com/). I did a quick search and sorted by 2024 if you want to see some of the different research articles - https://scholar.google.com/scholar?as_ylo=2024&q=Mitochondrial+Myopathy+seizures+%2Btreatment&hl=en&as_sdt=0,24.

Have your doctors offered any suggestions?
