Mental health treatment while incarcerated

I have given up trying to help my adult son who is manic, suicidal, and having delusions of demons in his isolated jail cell. He is not allowed any communication with us or anyone “until his behavior improves “. As far as I know he is not receiving any treatment. I have tried every channel I can think of to get information on his condition. In my opinion he should be hospitalized, not jailed. I’m not really looking for any advice, just a sympathetic ear.
