Menopause products for hot flashes from Lupron
My surgery was 11/11/24, and a year later we've begun radiation to attack what remains. I had a hormone injection (Lupron) in October and still have unpleasant hot flashes from that. I mentioned it to the oncologist last week and a nurse recommended Cyclease, a menopause medication from a company called Boiron. I've been using it for about 4 days, and it help during the hot flashes but doesn't seem to stop them from coming. I would not have chosen a menopause treatment without the recommendation, but it has helped.

My oncologist recommended that I get a depo-provera shot a year after I suffered from constant severe hot flashes. It worked really well. Did take about 10 days to start working but my hot flashes essentially stopped. It is a birth control shot for women. I only needed to take it once every three months. I continued taking it for about five years since it worked so well.
Even though I’m still on ADT years later, my hot flashes have stopped. Going on Orgovyx I’m taking my Prilosec pill 12 hours apart from Orgovyx and that seems to finally stop them. Found out there’s a conflict between proton pump, inhibitors and orgovyx.
