Can a meningioma become cancerous?

"Dr. Baird explains meningioma as a benign brain tumor or mass that grows abnormally in the brain. He says the vast majority of meningioma tumors are benign and will not develop cancerous characteristics. Dr. Baird does caution that even though meningioma tumors are typically benign, they can still cause a number of problems because of their location in the brain."

Best concise explanation I've read so far. I'm waiting and watching too. It truly sucks. No way around it. You try to live normally but that's not a reasonable pretense. I just think that...well... something has to kill ya. This just might be it. And I think of Jim Morrison's quote... nobody gets out of here alive. It simply is. It's in your head. No way to ignore it. Tears are useless. Nobody knows except a couple of people. A comfort is that so many have this and it's not a deal to them. The m just sits there. So...
