Medical bill
Does anyone know places that will help with medical bills. I have tried 211 but none of those #s that they gave are helpful. And has anyone in Ga gone thru helping hands I have their info but not sure if they are able most of their organizations are out of state.

1 ReactionPersonally, I would call the billing departmen and ask to speak to a manager and ask if some of the charges can be reduced. Explain your situation. If possible for you, a lot of places will set up a low monthly payment. You have to be assertive.
Also, they like us, are not perfect and make mistakes on the coding and you get charged extra. The doctor/surgeon could also have made a mistake in the billing code. Do you have an advocate that can look at your bills with you and assist you? If you have medical insurance, the insurance company, a lot of times will talk to the doctor/hospital that is charging you and see if mistakes have been made. If not, often times they may be gracious and give you a reduction in charges.

Thanks ya it's my son he has no insurance and got turned down for Medicaid and can't work . He broke his right legg in multiple places he's got 6 weeks left. I've been trying to find a charity some will help but not with medical bills it's 90,000 which is ridiculous. Thanks prayers help bless you
