MBST is also called magnetic resonance therapy in the US. There are a number of studies underway.
Here are some articles about it.

Sue, have you had this treatment? Or do you know of someone who is purchasing one in the u.s.?
Not for osteoporosis. My daughter had this therapy for 6 months on a severely shattered wrist - in the end, the jury is out on how much it helped - the bone still has not completely healed after 27 months.
I know people want to do everything in their power to strengthen their bones, and there are anecdotal reports of helpfulness for osteoporosis, but I still haven't seen a comprehensive studies showing the amount level of treatment, length of treatment, and long term effectiveness. Many machines are shown placed on specific bones or joints, so I am not sure what the protocol would be if one had widespread osteoporosis - legs, arms and spine. Also, are there any long-term ill effects from a lot of exposure, or exposure over a long time?
So, like many other treatments for the woes of aging, I would say "Looks promising. Now let's see what the long term effectiveness is."
