Lutathera and vitamin C

Hi folks - I know that PRRT and vitamins have a complex relationship. Has anyone been advised not to take any vitamin c? What if you need the vitamin c for an unrelated health reason?

I never stopped taking my vitamins (multiple/ vitamin C and calcium) while it did my 4 rounds of treatment

What was some of the side effects if any have someone had while taking their treatments

I don't think I was ever told not to take Vitamin C while on PRRT. Wasn't taking any supplements though except prescribed B12, which I still take.

While food sources of vitamin C are generally safe, taking high-dose vitamin C supplements during PRRT is often discouraged because its antioxidant properties may interfere with the treatment. The safety and efficacy of combining supplements with cancer therapies are a subject of ongoing research, and you should not take any supplements without consulting your healthcare provider.
