Low dosage naltrexone
I have been taking Low Dosage Naltrexone for about a month. I have small cell neuropathy and autoimmune disease (Raynauds, etc.). I must say that I have more energy and at the end of the day my legs do not feel as heavy. This drug was prescribed by my neurologist who is with the Columbia NY health system. I pay out of pocket; less than $40 per month and it has to be compounded. I am very excited to have even this small improvement. My primary symptoms are numbness and cramps not pain but it is really a drug to help your body create endorphins. If anyone else is taking this drug I hope you will comment.

Hello, @moorethrpy
Yes, I’ve been on LDN for 10 years. Shared my story and there was a good discussion from others here:

Curious. Do you have foot cramps?
Looking to try it. Hopefully soon
Yes, I have been on it since 2019. Was seeing a rheumatologist who couldn't diagnose me. I had read about LDN and asked the PA for it, she (who was knowlegable) agreed. I'm convinced that it healed my small intestine. (I had Crohn's) I think my immune system really needed it. I had dreams that were like Broadway musicals. Alas, no more dreams. But I still take it (I go off for surgery.) Laud its praise to anyone who will listen. One Dr (a neurologist) took to it.

1 Reaction@szubj002 You asked about foot cramps. I have peripheral neuropathy and no pain but had foot cramps. I "cured" them by putting a large stuffed animal under the covers to take the weight of the blankets off. Worked right away.

1 ReactionLDN is no secret - it’s a godsend!
I works for pain like no other medication ever mentioned here. I’ve been on it for four years and never looked back. It’s for pain but does nothing for numbness or stiffness.

1 Reaction@szubj002 I have leg and foot cramps which make exercises like yoga very difficult. I am about to try yoga again and will let you know. My leg cramps at night are definitely better.
@moorethrpy My foot cramps were persistant and insistant. I put a large stuffed toy under the blanket to hold it up and they were gone!
