Low blood pressure
Since my chemo infusion I been having seriously low blood pressure. It's a daily morning struggle to keep it up; before the infusion I was on several BP meds and although it would get low sometimes I could always use salt or pickie juice to bring it up.
Thanks

about all you can do is drink alot more fluids...and NO alcohol..I wonder if they could infuse fluids before the chemo drip ?? certainly needs to be handled by your oncology team, I would think
Cardio Oncology is a recognized field, and it sounds like you may benefit from one. My cardio oncologist looks after my heart function while urology, oncology, and radiology work on killing the cancer. He makes sure they do it without killing me. Low blood pressure is just as bad as high blood pressure except you fall down more. Urologist put me on Flomax, blood pressure tanked to below 70/50. CO said that's enough of that, figure out something else.
What do you consider low blood pressure? For over a year, mine would vary from 99/56 to 110/63. Never had any problems from it.
I actually went in to the hospital to have a minor surgery. My blood pressure was around 86/49. They were not too pleased when taking it a second time it was just as low. I never noticed and never had any fatigue from it. And your blood pressure is supposed to go up when you’re seeing a doctor.
85/59
I have to have electrolytes each am just to function I was on valstartin and amlodipine I haven't taken my bp meds in 4 day's I'm seeing my cardiologist next wed
My oncologist is going to give me an IV before the next infusion plus PSA level and a PET scan liver enzymes slightly elevated gonna do biopsy oncologist said its probably cancer and they will treat it with the same chemo
Mine has been low especially after exercise or working outside at times but not enough to hold my meds. Everything has a balance too low bad too high bad.
They gonna give me an iv before my next infusion when are the feeling good days I feel ke I got the flu I had a good night last night very few br trips and no cramping
When I was drinking a liter of electrolytes a few days ago I was able to run around the track three different times without stopping running.. I didn’t have fatigue from running either, when I was done.
I stopped drinking the electrolytes for a couple of days and found that going around the track. I could not run/jog all the way, maybe I could get halfway around at the most and then I have to walk more slowly.
This morning, I drank a liter of electrolytes before going out to the track. I was able to run/jog the whole way around three times and even on the way home.. the electrolytes gave me a lot more energy.
I don’t really feel fatigue without them, but it just gives me more energy with them.
I made my own electrolytes following these instructions
WHO Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS) recipe
The World Health Organization (WHO) has a specific recipe for homemade Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS) solution, intended to safely and effectively combat dehydration. &
Ingredients:
1 liter of clean drinking water
2 level tablespoons of sugar
½ level teaspoon of salt
I don't feel fatigued with them either. I just tried to walk my 600 yard broke out into a sweat and my abdomen hurt. I been running a low grade (100.4) fever. Honestly Jeff I have no idea what's going on I got a good patient navigator who my.wife calls and she contacts the oncologist. This is day 6 and i thought for.sure I'd be feeling better
