loss of feeling/numbness after cyst removal from peroneal nerve
July 2022 surgery performed to remove ganglion cyst from my left knee that was compressing the peroneal nerve. Additional nerve decompression near the ankle. Some loss of feeling and pain, with minor strength loss, prior to surgery. Complete loss of flexion to the foot initially after surgery. Regained full use of my foot by 4th or 5th month post surgery. Numbness has increased gradually since then down entire leg. Almost no feeling in the foot and losing muscle in the calf. What type of Neuro specialist should I see?

Welcome @bwerner, Sorry to hear that you have the neuropathy symptoms following the surgery. I would think it would be a neurosurgeon or orthopedic specialist with experience with nerve compression but hopefully someone with experience can respond. Here are a couple of references on the topic:

Have you checked with your surgeon or care team to see if they might have some suggestions for follow up?
