Looking for options urinary retention after EBRT and brachytherapy

My husband had 28 sessions of EBRT and brachytherapy following in January and is still dealing with urinary retention. He had a catheter on and off for 6 weeks. Afterwards had very low and frequent stream but off catheter. Doctor recommended Optilum for a small stricture close to the sphincter. Ended up worse off after procedure. Urodynamics study showed max voiding pressure 105 and post residual volume 142 ml. He had a super pubic catheter inserted due to extreme pain from all the catheters, procedures etc. Doctor thought he should try Rezum but was somewhat unsure it would help. We sought a second opinion, second opinion doctor said don’t do Rezum or turp, you will end up incontinent. Looking at the urodynamic report he advised trying physical therapy with biofeedback therapy to relax pelvic floor muscles. He was hopeful this would help and surgery might not be needed. This would be the first step and would try for 6 weeks. If physical therapy doesn’t work he thinks the next best step in his situation would be a Urolift procedure. We are still trying to get into a physical therapist who is certified and uses biofeedback. In the meantime we have heard from several people not to do a Urolift procedure. Has anyone had a similar situation or have any experience with Rezum or Urolift or maybe an alternative. Procedures he has tried have just left him worse off then before. We seem to get differing ideas at every turn and to top it off he is dealing with UTI’s and doctors telling him not to take antibiotics unless he gets a high temp, chills or severe pain. We did have a referral sent to a specialist but have not heard back yet. Getting into any doctor is like pulling teeth. Any ideas or experiences would be very much appreciated.
