Hello, first I would like to start off by saying my injury that cause me to need a tkr was a car wreck three years ago. I’ve had a total of 5 knee surgeries and an ankle surgery, which most likely has to be repeated later this year. I’m not complaining cause I have 130 rom in that leg, however, I have hip issues, back issues and other problems daily. When I do get sleep and wake up I’m stiff. If I sit to long it hurts, if I walk to much it hurts. But with all this happening I noticed my knee is warm like all the time, and it hurts in the front of it. I just don’t know if it’s normal or not. Been a little over a year since that surgery and I’m not that old. In my 30s and my spine surgeon said I have discs that are flat as pancakes and I have horrible arthritis from my cervical part of my spine all the way down into the bottom part of my spine. I get issues with my spine too where it feels like it moves around like when I lay it shifts. I just want to feel better physically, mentally and emotionally someday. Can anyone else relate?

Let's get your body a chance to be healthy first. No way am I qualified to diagnose you. But I do have my share of issues and have tried to be healthy. First, read up on Low Dose Naltrexone. There is lots to think about there and I bet you've had lots of antibiotics in your time. Next, get a good probiotic and take it! (I use Epic Pro made by Swansons Foods. The more species, the better) Let's give your body a fighting chance!

I've had similar problems with stiffness, pain, swelling, etc. I've been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and osteoporosis (I'm 76). I am retired so I have time to research, and my background is in alternative, holistic health for 42 years.

I have low dose Naltrexone which was mentioned by someone else so do look into that. Also do some research on Lumbrokinase. I take 2 capsules on an empty stomach with water only and wait an hour before eating or drinking anything other than water. This proteolytic enzyme has many purposes and reduces inflammation , swelling and pain.

I'm also taking lots of probiotics, some with food, some without depending on their instructions. In fact, there is one I ferment into a "yogurt" after buying Dr. William Davis's book, Super Gut. The probiotic patented strain by BioGaia called Osfortis helps rebuild bones, but I'm also taking many different probiotics and eating fermented vegetables (sauerkraut, pickles, etc.). It's important to stay away from what will damage your gut like NSAIDS, alcohol, processsd junk food, and the book I mentioned is a great guide because your health begins in and is dependent upon your gut microbiome.

Good luck.
