liquid alendronate

Hi,
Has anyone been on liquid alendronate? If so, what has been your experience with side effects and has it helped? Thanks!

It only comes in a tablet or effervescent tablet dissolved in water but not liquid.

I just started the oral solution of alendronate, once a week, starting 35 mg at first and then proceed to 75 mg in a few weeks.

Can you please tell me who the manufacturer of the liquid formulation is?

Hi @rjkesal123 , The shorter transit time at esophagus and in stomach with liquid form may lessen local irritation, although you won't have a comparison unless you had alendronate tablets before. Please keep us posted about your first hand experience with alendronate solution, and your treatment progress if you could. Thank you!
