Lidocaine Infusions

Have any of you tried IV infusion s of lidocaine to lessen your neuropathic pain? I have found in the medical literature a few references to its useage for chronic neuropathic pain but before going in that direction myself would certainly like to hear from anyone who has had first hand experience. Since 2009 have been coping with SFN, which considerably worsened in terms of leg and arm pain after receiving the updated Covid vaccine in early October (2023).
