Lenvima death

My husband was put on Lenvima for Liver Cancer as His Drs said there were no alternatives after a year n a half and very serious side effects we found another hospital and another Dr who did radiation and killed the tumor. However the drug I believe killed him as it states can lead to death even after your no longer on Lenvima that's exactly what happened every side effect happened even after no longer on the drug the side effects listed kept happening one after the other. Just like checking off the list. and eventually died. Has any one else had this happen. His cardiologist said in 6 months looking at the test results they did he would have thought it was 2 different patients one with no heart problems to one that went into cardiac arrest n died.

Hei Addey, i am very sorry for your loss. When did this happened? How many mg of lenvima did he take? I am scared, too, because i might start with Lenvima. I have tyroid cancer. and how old was your husband.? thank you for your reply

He was 70 when first diagnosed. He started out on 10mg and went to 20mg then we decided to find a new group of doctors. Many well wishes that you concur the disease and gain your health back.

I would not take my husbands experience and base your treatment on it. You should always do what you and your doctors think best. I feel I failed him by not understanding fully the risk.
