Leg numbness in the morning
I am nine weeks out from total knee replacement on my right knee. I am finally starting to be able to sleep, but in the morning even though I am still tired, I have to get up because I have so much numbness in my leg and foot it is so achy and it feels like it weighs 1000 pounds. I have to get up to walk and eventually it eases up . this also happens when I go to bed at night and I lay down my leg is achy and numb. It is very uncomfortable and sometimes saw that I have to ice it just to try to get some relief. Does anyone else have this problem is there anyone out there who can suggest any way to get relief.?

Hello,
I am also 9 weeks out on my left knee, but I'm 16 weeks out on my right knee. My legs get achy a lot but not numb. I have been massaging both legs with a cream from Amazon that's called Village Naturals Therapy, Lotion, Aches and Pains Muscle Relief. I massage the whole leg and behind the knee before I go to bed and it has helped with the achiness. I hope this helps.
