Left TKR Extreme Pain at Night-missing piece of tibia bone
I had one knee replaced in 2017. I am 63 but I still mow, etc in my yard, climb stairs, walk nightly 2 miles with my dogs. Every night when I sit down to relax my replaced knee aches unbearably. Salonpas and 1500 mg tylenol (800 mg advid) sometimes helps. My xray shows a triangle area on the inside of my leg under the tibia appliance missing bone. The implant in not loose. My surgeon wants to send me to a revision specialist, but I want to know why I lost a piece of my tibia.

Additionally I have an infection from an old crown tooth. I went to urgent care and was given an antiobiotic until my dentist office opens tomorrow. My tooth pain was severe, however; my knee pain was times ten worse than normal. Could the infection have moved to my knee? I just took my fourth dose of Cleocin 300 mg. will that help if the infection is also in my knee? and fyi, I am prone to staff infections.
