leaks in leg veins

Posted by elawrie46 @elawrie46, 3 days ago

I was told I have eleven leaks in my veins in my legs. I had the first procedure on the largest vein, it was painful and didn't seem to make a difference. I'm wondering if I should get the others repaired. Does anyone know the pros and cons of this type of procedure? I'd appreciate your comments.

Was that leak external or did thee vein leak internally? I have some spider veins and one had a scab on it. I told my doctor that I thought my vein might be bleeding and he said that was normal.

I believe the leaks are internal because I don't see anything on the exterior

I have had my “bad” veins in my lower legs sealed off and the blood rerouted to good veins.
Blood won’t circulate correctly to reach your heart with the bad veins that get weak with age. Hope this helps. I went to a doctor who specialized in this.

They told me they repair the leaks in the legs they didn't say they rerouted them. I wonder if it's the same procedure.
Thanks for your input.
