Latest Pancreatic Cancer treatment

Posted by Mort Hurt @dyas, 2 days ago

My wife has dealt with Pancreatic Cancer over 7 years. She has defied the odds. She will meet with her doctor next week. She will learn what process she will follow.
I am 81 she will soon be 80. We live in a senior living facility. We have decided to return to our home. She has so many wonderful friends who will help out. We will be on our own. Looking for any ideas or suggestions.

Thank you so very much.

🙏 Mort

Seven years with pancreatic cancer is extraordinary. Whatever her doctor recommends next, I think planning around her quality of life, your quality of life, and keeping the two of you together in the place you want to be is every bit as important as planning the medical treatment.

@dyas do not be afraid to ask friends for help. See if one can organize meal deliveries a few days a week, and see if another can organize a few visits each week (which might include a load of laundry and dishes). You will be amazed at how much friends can and will help when asked. Don't be afraid to ask.
