Lack of feeling despite erection from Bimix
I could use some advice, my PA has no compassion in her blood , I’m 10 months post surgery, radiation and 2 Lupron shots , I had questions for my urologist 6 weeks ago but things have changed, I finally had a medium erection recently with Bimix at 50 units but each time I felt nothing , I might as well be a robot. I was considering an implant in the fall but not if I can’t feel anything or have an orgasm. Sent a message to PA. Today her response was you talked to the Dr 6 weeks ago ago , yes I did but at that time I’ve never had an erection with pumps or Trimix . Can I bypass my PA without cutting my throat? I need to know if I need to let the Lupron wear off and maybe I’ll get my sensitivity back . No offense to women but I wish she was a male who might understand the mental 10 months I have endured

If the doc is male, tell them you want to talk to the doctor because he is a man. You have a right to do that. Women do it all the time.
I attended a webinar in September 2023 out of Stanford University titled: “Penile Rehab: Optimizing Recovery of Erectile Function after Prostate Cancer Treatment” —> https://youtu.be/aRp1NXjPGLE?si=VyF2ALSgU1J5r4OI
It’s very informative, and hopefully will provide information that you can discuss with your doctors to get beyond your current situation.

This far into your prostate cancer journey, you understand that much of your positive results are due to self-advocacy and shared decision-making. Who you choose to be your medical provider is totally up to you.
Graybeard, the Lupron in your system is definitely an issue; it takes longer to wear off than Orgovyx. so I don’t think you can really gauge your response to the mix until that is completely out of your system.
Also, you may want to skip your PA and oncologist altogether, and seek the advice of a Doctor Who specializes in men’s sexual health; the radiation oncologist deals in generalities and the PA merely parrots what they say so you’ll probably get nowhere with either of them.

Spot on thanks
