Knee injection that doesn't raise blood sugar?
I have type 2 diabetes. Do any of you know of a knee injection that doesn't raise blood sugar?
I just started post-stroke outpatient PT, and am having trouble walking with walker due to left knee weakness and pain.
Have appointment to see orthopedic surgeon.
Any suggestions welcome!

You need to find out what’s wrong with your knee first before you consider injections. Since any knee injection would be localized and likely not become systemic it’s doubtful your concern would be realized. Good luck with your orthopedic appointment.
Thanks, @jenatsky. Doc said it's "bone on bone" due to arthritis, but surgery can't be done now because I'm on blood thinners due to recent stroke. So I'm scheduled for a Synvisc gel injection next Friday, which won't raise my blood sugar like a cortisone steroid injection would do. I hope it will help me be able to continue making progress with my physical therapy and being able to walk better eventually. I am a little concerned that I'll have to rest a couple days after, and also have to keep ice paks on it off and on.
