Kaposi Sarcoma

I was recently diagnosed with Kaposi Sarcoma. I am seeking second opinions and treatment options, but in the meantime would appreciate any insights into other’s experiences with KS

Hi, I’m not sure what other treatment, other than chemo for KS. But I been doing chemo for 7 months now and I can say it will get better due time. I’m sure your doctor going to have you try doxil chemo first. From my understanding its highly effective with KS

Hi Dennis - My name is Glenn and have been HIV+ for 34 years. Am currently undetectable but developed KS 3 years ago - very rare occurrence in undetectable viral loads. Oncologist had me begin immediately on Doxil - an hour long IV drip. Went through several rounds but for the past year all lesions are in remission and some are even disappearing or less prominent.
