Joint Replacement in 30s/40s

Hi, I am in my thirties and am having trouble getting surgery to help correct my years of hip issues (started in 1992, then tore my labrum in 2014 and 2018). My insurance is repeatedly denying labral reconstruction. I meet with a joint replacement clinic next week to hopefully establish care and have my situation reviewed. I went around this bush in my 20s, but they wouldn't even schedule me then at the JR clinic.

For context, my labrum is pretty much shredded/worn out and my socket is trying to regrow the FAI that was corrected during a 2017 surgery. Does anyone have: 1) experience advocating for a total or partial hip replacement in their 30s/40s and 2) what was your experience with the procedure and recovery after?

I have a family history of hip issues and joint replacements, but I keep getting told that I am too young and they want to conserve my hip. But I am in pain almost all the time and can't be active with my peers. Not to mention I have become increasingly miserable in the winter. I am hoping to make a strong case for quality of life next week.

Thank you!

You will need to have a PPO. My friend was too young for Knee replacement, even though she was in constant pain. She had the Nano Knee with Dr. Thomas Ferro...he also does Nano hip replacements. Check him out if you have a PPO or switch to a PPO. If you need the replacement, he could maybe get it authorized .
