IVIG authorization update: Got approval

I had my neuro appt yesterday dr. put in an appeal for my denial for insurance so I'm back in the waiting game. She did mention a routine of high does prednisone but I am not interested in that. I started plaquenil in a few months I'll see how much it helps. As always I appreciate sharing with my fellow pain people!

I finally got approved for Ivig! Had two infusion last week and now I wait with full expectation of pain relief in about a month. Thats always our game plan try something and wait. I got diarrhea and a headache but nothing too bad.

I started my infusions March 24 and 25 my next one is today. I am wanting to be hopeful but for 15yrs nothing has helped. I will let you wonderful fellow burners know how it helped!

Hello @notborntoburn, You will notice that we merged your discussion with an earlier discussion you started on your IVIG update so that members can follow your progress on your IVIG being approved.
I'm hoping the infusions provides you with that full expectation of relief you are expecting. Have you noticed any relief or changes after the first infusion?
