@buffyzoe Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! What classes are you interested in taking? It seems like in this age of technology there are many options available to you, covering almost any topic! Like @dj12 mentioned, Silver Sneakers. Also, AARP website offers classes.

The new mindset we need to adapt to can be confusing, saddening, and intimidating, seemingly all at once. Take a deep breath, and sit with yourself for a few minutes. Think of how you want to improve from where you are. Understand it will not happen all at once, understand it might be "baby steps" to get where you want to go. But it will happen with consistency in effort on your part!

On my insurance with Aetna, they do. With that said, I got a notice yesterday in my email that with the new insurance requirements with Medicare, they are only covering certain things now.

Only at specific gyms. Go to the silver sneakers website, enter your zip code and you will discover gyms and/or park districts that are available to you for free access.

We have united health care, here in Las Vegas, with LV health club. But still too far we don't have a car. I am too old to get on and off busses. We used to have a car, with going to LA and others places racking miles and miles, it went down hill. Like my 68 yr old, going to doctors for cancer and thinking dead by now. 6 years later I am still here, more issues but still enjoying life while I am. I need to figure out a way my and I can go to Italy, now that I am living I want to see more things, so I need to make money in order to do it. I am open to many way to make money. We also have a channel @healeadteach2923 we do cooking videos and I talk about my prostate cancer journey.
