Internal vibrations started in stomach and now in limbs (20 years old)

Posted by dec1888 @dec1888, Mar 10, 2022

About a month ago i started gettin weird vibrations in the right side of my stomach when i changed posture or stretched/twisted my body, it was painless but it was a bit concerning as it had never happend before. Fast forward a few weeks and now when i stretch my stomach the vibrations are now happening in my arms and legs also with my stomsch , also when i masturbate my arm has numb/tingly sensation afterwards which has never happened as well in all my years. I cant understand what the cause of this as ive looked everywhere, im a 20 year old male and play sports regularly and lift weights, i dont smoke although i will say i dont have a good diet and eat alot of fast food. Does anyone have any idea what this could be i take daily vitamin supplements and cod liver oil also and thats about the only medication/tablets i take so i dont know whats causing this, does anyone have any idea as im getting concerned.

Hello @dec1888, welcome. Internal vibrations may stem from several possibilities including stress or anxiety, extreme muscle fatigue from exercise, medication side effects, or a neurological situation. Although not harmful, they can certainly be annoying and concerning. Have you spoke with your primary care physician about the internal vibrations and numb, tingling sensations in your arm?

@dec1888 I'm glad your symptoms have almost disappeared. Will you continue using cbd oil? I recommend keeping a detailed journal of symptoms, including medicine and herbal use, and outcomes. When you say they do not understand, are you referring to your PCP or a neurologist?

This is a late comment - but if you are still searching for an answer, hopefully this message gets to you.

Our bodies are trying to communicate to us all the time, often times people don’t sit with their bodies to understand what it wants/needs.

Our bodies clue us into the environment we live in and the people we surround ourselves with… just sit and be present with your body and get to know all the feelings and sensations in your body.

My guess is that the vibrations you were feeling is some how related to your instincts - which may be “gut/splenic” intuition. This is the oldest form of primal instincts which allows you to act in the moment and make decisions or what to respond to in the moment based on the body’s response. (Fight or flight)

Practicing “yes/no” questions to yourself may all for those vibrations to sharpen.
