Does CBD interact with vitamin C or other vitamins and medications?
I was wondering if you had CBD in your system, would it interact with vitamins? Specifically vitamin C? Also, can I take fever reducer if the CBD is in my system?

Hi @sakura91
I'm sure you already did an Internet search for the answers you are seeking. In case you didn't, here's what I found:
Drugs.com is a good site to use to check for drug interactions. No interactions were found between cannabis and Vitamin C. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. Always consult your healthcare provider.

Are you feeling ill and wonder if regular use of CBD may interfere with your recovery?
@colleenyoung and @sakura91. Here's what I've learned about CBD oil and blood thinners. I'm prescribed a blood thinner (Eliquis 12.5 mg x 2 daily: (Canada) as per my weight.) My doctor is a highly respected, highly informed Cardiologist/Gastroenterologist) who deals with both my cardio and GI issues and knows me well over our 12 year history, of my severe reaction to multiple prescription meds.
When I asked him if it was safe for me to take CBD oil (30 to 1 ratio in favor of CBD as opposed to HTC (?) content), he WAS concerned because he advised that CBD can act as a blood thinner with those medications and thus interact with the Eliquis,
causing more risk of bleeding than even the Eliquis poses.
He gave me permission IF I took only 25 mg per day by dropper. That's not very much! It's the smallest marking on the dropper supplied with my brand of CBD oil. I also enquired of the pharmacist at the providing company and they concurred with my doc's advice.
I mostly use my 25 mg each day to apply directly to oral lichen planus areas by finger. It soothes the pain for a while and I also visualize it in a positive manner as easing my anxiety and multiple pain issues with GCA, osteoarthritis, etc. (I have a good imagination!) Hopefully Laurie
