I have neuropathy

Posted by acoleman264 @acoleman264, Jan 20 6:44pm

I have noticed that my feet and toes stay cold and turn blue if I sit for a while even though I have been told that I have good veins in my feet.Does anyone else have this problem and what else should I expect?

Yes me too
At night especially my feet are like ice.
Went to vascular doc and he checked my pulses and said they were good
Can’t believe they are because my feet are so numb, can’t feel anything.
Having ultrasound for venous insufficiency in few weeks

You can have microvascular disease with strong pedal pulse. You could have a biopsy from tissue in your feet to determine if the numbness is microvascular. Because you have the trouble after sitting, you may be cutting off blood or vascular supply to your feet. It may originate in the spine and affect you only in the seated position.
If it is microvascular, there can be many causes which you'd want to investigate.
