Humerus and Shoulder Replacement
I am 39, and when I was younger, in my 20s, I used to have low blood sugar seizures. I have been living with limited range of motions for 19 years with both my left and right shoulders. I miss living an active life style and going to gym. Is there such a thing as total shoulder and humerus replacement that allows for exercises such as push ups?

Yes, total shoulder replacement, the humeral head and glenoid socket are replaced. I have had both shoulders replaced and now have no pain and engage in all activities. It takes awhile and ongoing rehab to get your strength back, but well worth it. Good luck
@simplicity808 It is always hard to watch others from the sidelines - especially at your young age. I'm happy that you are seeking a solution, and among the many thousands of Mayo Connect members, you will find people with similar issues to advise you.
I am guessing you have already tried the usual more conservative measures like physical therapy.
May I ask if you have seen an orthopedist who specializes in shoulders? Have they determined that the shoulder capsule is damaged or destroyed?
I had my shoulder replaced 8 weeks ago and it still hurts a bunch
