How painful are Trimix injections?
I'm considering trying Trimix for my ED. My Dr. has walked me through the procedure etc. But here's my question. How painful are the actual injections? Is it like Flu shot pain? on a scale of 1-10 How painful would you rate it if you have used it?

I used the pills for years and HATED how they made me feel. I used trimix for about 11 years. Its not very painful and you get used to it. You have to learn the sweet spots to hit where you miss a vein. But you also cant use the same spot all the time. If you hit a vein which I did many times you can get some scary looking big black and purple bruises.
It worked great for me but the problem I had was if I used enough to get a good erection it would last more than 4 hours. So I had to inject the antidote, phenylephrine to make it go down. So Id usually have to give myself 2 shots every time I had sex. The antidote can possibly give you a heart attack too BTW. Of course I could screw all night like a pornstar which was nice and impressive if you play it right.
I finally got tired of sticking needles in my penis and when I turned 65 I got a penile implant and Medicare paid for it. I am 68 now. It only cost me $200. No more needles, pills, bruises. It works 100% of the time.
You might consider that.
I'm having the Da Vinci prostate surgery done within the next month or two. I guess with the implant in place I will have that base covered.

I don't think it hurts since many times I have never felt it. I don't use the auto-injector. The worst was a slight pinch.

I almost always used the auto-injector. I like how you can set it to the exact depth instead of eye balling it. If you used trimix much you probably accidentally injected into the lining instead of the spongy sweet spot at some point which can leave a nasty welt. You can still do that with the auto-injector too but I feel it’s less likely.
Also the auto-injector is a good option if you’re on a date and you’ve been drinking. lol
The shot itself is “just a little prick” (pun intended). My issue is having a dull ache throughout the erection and no ability to achieve a feeling of climax. The pain lessens the sense of romance. I may have injected too deeply and will try again soon. No bruising or unanticipated swelling, though.
Once you get past the idea of injecting yourself in a sensitive area, after the first time, you will realize there is virtually so little pain, almost none. As soon as you get a boner, you will forget all about it! Resulting in you looking forward to the next time
Jay I would give it a 3 or 4 but only for maybe less than 30 seconds. That is 90% of the time 10% of time only 1 as don’t feel injection . Why different I don’t know could be scar tissue as I have a little. It does usually hurt for that less than 30 seconds but result greatly outweighs that short discomfort. I think most men could tell you they have no or very little discomfort. I am happy for them it is just not that way for me. I was terrified of the ideal of injections to start. It is a great feeling to know I can always get hard and go at it for as long as I want without losing erection. I am very happy that I have this resource to use. Good luck
