I recently had a lumpectomy and just got my pathology can someone explain to me what ER PR POSITIVE and HER2 negative mean Stage 2. I now see my surgeon this Wednesday and have to have a second surgery to remove some Sentinel nodes one of my samples had a slightly invasive cancer the other ones were dcis

ER+ means your cancer is fed by hormones. HER2- is good news. You can have an Oncotype Dx test that will help determine treatment. ER+ means that anti-estrogen meds will help you.

Did you mean grade 2 not stage 2?

Hi
Honestly at this point what I recall him telling me was grade 2. I get a copy of my pathology report this Wednesday when I see my surgeon so I'll have to look at it I'm overwhelmed I'm upset I'm angry I don't understand why it took them three months to get me to the radiologist and I do not want another general anesthetic I just started to feel good.
