Hi everyone. Does anyone have bone spurs on their hips and what can be done about it. The pain stops me walking !
I have advanced arthritis in my lower spine and tailbone which makes sitting extremely painful too. Makes life a bit miserable at times.

evieinnz, there is a minimally invasive surgery to remove those bone spurs.

When I first discovered bone spurs on my left hip a chiropractor used a motion type massage and regular physical therapy for strength and that lasted me for about 10 years. If you aare in the market for a hip replacement, it might be a good idea to go ahead and get one because it just gets worse as time goes on

My wife did in her groin area and they removed them when they did hip surgery!

Thanks Danny. Seems to be a genetic thing as I’m finding out a few family members had or have them. So painful!

Yes. Very painful. I had arthroscopic surgery called fai where the bone spur was shaved and repaired. Surgery was one day , not too bad. I am glad I had it done.
