Help Others Help You
If you have a story to tell about your health, situation, history, or whatever, help your readers help you.
How?
Please, please, please break the text into paragraphs.
A big block of text without breaks is *really* difficult to read and comprehend.
I believe you will get more responses and helpful information if you make it easier for people to connect with you -- and that's the name of this community, right?
Thank you.

Good point! It is difficult to keep your place when there are so many lines!
I agree it’s a much, much easier read to have more indentations and paragraphs. The good old (some say old-fashioned) desk & laptop computers certainly made that much easier to do!
Unfortunately, these days many folks only have smartphones which are not as format friendly as our customary computers, or take advanced skills for better formatting. No real training comes with smartphones. My message for these folks would be to still don’t be discouraged from reaching out the best way you know how!
@johnbishop - Was it you that once posted about a tool where you can format better, then cut & paste into here? It might not have been for smartphone users, as it’s not easy when I use my phone. I admit I can’t get my phone to indent and space well.
Hi Debby, I do use notepad a lot on my computer if I'm doing a long response. Then cut and paste. I try not to get too wordy specifically because I too have issues reading long one paragraph posts. Hardest thing for me is trying to focus on the persons main concern or question they are looking to get a response or answer. I try not to do much on my iPhone because it's hard to search for references and keep your post open. I suppose one could use Safari on their phone for Connect and also download another browser app like Chrome to use for references for copy/paste.
On the flipside, I realize when a person is in a lot of pain they are not exactly thinking about readability. They are more focused on pouring it all out and hoping someone can help or point them in the right direction, at least that's my thinking.
I do use only Safari on my iPhone or iPad when reading Connect. And I do open other tabs on Safari to do research, then come back. Connect keeps your place when you just switch over to a new tab (web search window).
If you keep your tabs cleared, and not have too many “open” at a time, it’s easier to return to the Connect page. Find the list of tabs you have open by clicking on the graphic of a box in front of a box in the top right corner of your iPhone.
You can also use the comment area in Connect to keep your ideas until you’re ready to compose a response. You can copy/paste important ideas from the post you’re reading and place the fragments of issues into the comment section. It just sits there, like a piece of note paper.
When you’re ready to can begin typing your response in the comment section below where your notes are. Easy reference. Then delete the notes to yourself before you click “post”. No one sees those notes, and they will stay in the comment section as long as you just switch tabs to do your research.
But if you reload the Connect page it will clear the page.
