@kitty71: Hi! I’m in similar shoes - I’m on my 8th month of Evenity. Yea, occasional bone pain everywhere, muscle soreness in random areas, headaches, etc. are tiresome. However, I still have hope that Evenity drug is working to strengthen my bones to prevent fractures. It has been touted that it builds bone fastest. I have always believed that Osteoporosis meds are a Crap Shoot when treating this malady. I took a risky chance that after my 12th month of treatment my new DEXA scan will show no new bone loss and maybe even restored strength in my bones! I’ll let y’all know in June ‘26!

Not neck pain as you describe, but I have had joint pain (arthralgia) and muscle aches ever since I started it. I have had eight doses to date. I take an Aleve every couple of days which helps, plus stay active with regular exercise, walking, and stretching which helps.

After 9 injections of Evenity developed brutal itching throughout my torso. Last injection was in January and itching did not stop until July. Went on Prolia and brutal itching started after 2nd injection. It is calming down a bit and it's been 4 months since that last injection.
I see all the side effects that many have experienced but never read about this terrible itching.
Has anyone else experienced this??

@dkgl This is interesting. I have had some itching recently in my breasts and surrounding area and armpit area and it never occurred to me that it might be related to Evenity. It’s making me wonder if it’s related now as this is new. I have my next injection scheduled for the 16th and will observe if it recurs. I am not currently experiencing the itching.

I’m so sorry everyone has these reactions. at the same time glad I’m not alone! I too have terrible itching everywhere described! Particularly under breasts and upper body. I have joint pain especially at night, and insomnia.

Getting the 8th month of shots tomorrow. Also have a bone density test.
Hoping to see good results.
All the best to you on this journey!

I had neck pain after the 1st 2 injections. Requested referral from my rheumatologist to physical therapy and learned exercises to do to avoid for the next injection and didn't have any more issues. However, I did have allergic site reactions all 4 times with severe itching and had to use a steroid cream (prescription grade) to calm down the injections. Went off Evenity due to concerns with a possible allergic systemic reaction and on Evista until I can decide on next move, be it Tymlos or Forteo.

I took my 8th Evenity recently. One thing has remained consistent: every month the side-effects are different (stiff neck aches for days, headaches, bone pains throughout body, fatigue extreme, on &on…, however one is consistent so far and that is bone aches all over - particular in bed or sitting immovable. I tell myself that this shows Evenity is Working!
Life (80 yrs so far) has taught me this: If we result and agree to medical treatment for a malady, then we are better off if we ACCEPT the side effects to our individual extreme tolerance level. Whining and complaints of minor discomfort tells the Dr we are a whimp! We need to report serious conditions immediately to Dr or ER, but we have to discern for ourselves the difference between “discomfort and serious pain”! YOU are stronger than you think you are… prove it! Just my 2cents…
