My endocrinologist recommended I take Citracal, which I do. I haven’t had a bone density scan since I started taking it so I don’t know how effective it has been, however.

Hi,
I take a lower dose plant based calcium, but Calcium alone supplements don’t help as Much as we think or like. Must do exercises, eat well, try to avoid sugar and I am taking either NativePath Bone supplement or AlgaeCal .

Eat foods rich in calcium rather than supplements (calcium from supplements can cause kidney stone) take vit. d. & k
weight bearing exercise will help strengthen not only the muscles around the bone, but the bone itself. and walk with a bounce...or skip. don't jog.
