HealthDirect AminoSculpt Collagen Supplement?
Two different, "supplement and nutrition experts," working in trusted health food stores recommended HealtDirect AminoSculpt Collagen Micropeptides (18 grams). They both offered, "this is our best seller."
One fluid oz daily claims to provide 28 types of collagen in a sugar-free liquid, the main ingredient is CollaPurle(TM), ["Medical grade fruit-enzyme-hydrolized collagen peptides {grass-fed bovine"}]. A 30 day supply for one person can cost between $30 (on sale direct)-$60 (in-store).
I can't find universal support for the claim that collagen is effective in the treatment of Osteoporosis. And we don't find any independent support for the efficacy of this particular product. Are we wasting our money, or has anyone else had experience with this product?
